Joe spent two days outside of the city of DC in the open nature working hard under the sun for the Chesapeake Bay Foundation in a fertile area where much is grown and cultivated.

Joe spent his afternoon at a unique mall where there was nothing really to buy, but a whole lot to see.

Joe’s looking sharp in his hair net, necessary equipment for engineering delicious and nutritious meals for individuals living with life challenging illnesses such as AIDS and cancer. He was proud to be part of the group that made the 15,000,000 meal of this organization possible.

The Countdown Begins

A little less than 24hrs and we are on our way!!!

Miner Challenge Team members are prepared to take on our week long service mission in the city’s of Chicago IL.  and Washington D.C.!!! Team members have chosen to give up traditional Spring Break options in order to address  Illness, Hunger and Poverty, issues that so greatly affect our country.  As we edge closer to take off we would like to say “thank you” to all of our sponsors and everyone who made it possible for Miner Challenge 2012 to occur! We will be working hard at our destinations partnering with The Howard Brown Health Center, Food  & Friends, Clagett Farms and many other organizations to ensure that every minute of our time is spent on making a diffidence!

If you do, you could win swag from his adventures!

Sunday, March 25th through Friday, March 30th the Miner Challenge Teams will share photos and clues each day to help you figure out where Joe’s been. You will have 24 hours from the time a clue is posted to submit your guesses via email to minerchallenge (at) yahoo.com.

Those who correctly guess the places Joe visits throughout the week will be entered in a drawing to receive a gift basket with items from his travels!

Two clues will be posted here on our blog each day. We will also tweet them and post them to our Facebook Page. They could be posted at any time, so we recommend following us on our blog or twitter, or liking our page on Facebook to make sure you don’t miss them!
