Recap: What’s been happening

1/25/11- TN Meeting: The Tennessee team had their first meeting of the semester.  A few logistics were covered, snackage commenced, & the team started brainstorming various fundraising ideas they would like to implement.

1/17/11- Maring Luther King Day of Service: Both Miner Challenge teams participated in the “a day on, not a day off.”  We went to the Rolla Community Partnership and moved ~1500 clothing items out to the floor.  There sale will benefit children with disabilities and young families in need of support.

1/10/10- Back to School:  

Hard At Work

On Friday, August 27th, 2010 the Team Leaders took to the painted street to meet people and let them know about Miner Challenge.  In between talking with people, standing in the shade, and eating the candy, they managed to find time for a brief photo-op.   Lookin’ good!

Last Miner Challenge Pre-Trip Meeting!

Last night we had our last pre-trip meeting.  We spent the evening hanging out, eating good food, and talking about the specifics of our week in New Orleans.  Only 9 more days before we leave!
